Ford reached a notable milestone in the electric vehicle (EV) space in November, with sales of the F-150 Lightning reaching record numbers and propelling the automaker to a prominent position in the U.S. EV market.
Ford CEO Jim Farley announced last Friday that sales of the F-150 Lightning have reached a new peak in November, with an impressive increase of 113%. The electric model won the title of best-selling electric pickup truck in the month, even surpassing the competitor Rivian R1T, as reported by the Electrek website.
The 4.393 units sold in November marked a remarkable performance for the Lightning, surpassing sales of the entire third quarter. The increase in sales coincides with Ford's efforts to increase production after a strategic pause for plant expansion.
