The Supplier PJ Valves From the United Kingdom Won Contracts to Supply Valve Packages for Two Offshore FPSO Projects with Petrobras
The UK PJV obtained contracts from two distinct operators (one of them being Petrobras) due to its customer service and high design standards in FPSO, manufacturing, and distribution capabilities. Within the bidding process, PJV worked with each client on cost reductions and beneficial engineering improvements.

The Marlim 2 FPSO project will have the capacity to process up to 70,000 bbl of oil and 4 million m3/d of natural gas. PJV will supply a variety of butterfly, ball, globe, and check valves made from carbon stainless steel, super duplex, and nickel aluminum bronze materials.
The valves vary in sizes, with the maximum being 20 inches in diameter and the maximum pressure class being 2500, to withstand the processing requirements of the topside vessel at Petrobras’s works.

About the Other Two Contracts Involving Petrobras
PJV has won more work for the Mero 2 FPSO, which will produce 180,000 bpd. The company was contracted to supply six valve packages for different topside processes, including gas and water services. They will be installed within the 33,000 tons weight of the FPSO’s sides.
In this case, PJV worked closely with the client on the operator’s requirements to meet the project specifications and tight deadlines.
Brazil Is the Light at the End of the Tunnel
James Moir, Sales Director of the Group, PJV, said: “Brazil is a beacon at a very challenging time for the oil and gas industry, especially for FPSOs. These contracts highlight our technical and commercial expertise, where we can work with the client to meet design and supply requirements. As we own our factory in the UK, we have complete control and management of projects, which makes the process smooth and easy for our clients. We are excited to add these contract achievements to our portfolio and continue winning similar projects in the region.”
