At the location where FS’s ethanol factory will be built, 585 million liters of ethanol will be produced each year, due to the total capacity of the new plant. The ethanol factory is expected to open in 2023. When the Primavera do Leste factory is inaugurated, FS will reach a production capacity of 2 billion liters of ethanol annually, becoming one of the four largest ethanol producers in the country.
The investment plan forecasts that three more factories will be established by 2026, all within the state of Mato Grosso, which will allow the company to reach a production capacity of 5 billion liters of ethanol per year.
