Training Boosts Opportunities for Young People with Support from the Caldeira Institute
In 2024, Gerdau, the largest steel producer in Brazil, expanded its social role by integrating its platform Data4All with the Geração Caldeira program from the Caldeira Institute.
Thus, the company demonstrates its commitment to the development of young people aged 16 to 24.
Since the announcement in March, more than 18 thousand public school participants have already benefited from the project.
It establishes itself as a reference in training for the new economy.
Partnership Expands Access to Technological Education
To ensure solid results, the partnership combines Gerdau’s century-old expertise, which spans 124 years, with the innovative ecosystem of the Caldeira Institute.
The institute was founded to connect talents with the market.
Thus, Data4All, created in collaboration with the edtech Ada, began to offer training tracks in generative artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and data science.
Access to quality content prepares young people to occupy strategic positions in digital transformation.
Content Includes Training Tracks and Practical Classes
Additionally, Geração Caldeira ensures a robust supplementary track made up of over 200 classes.
The schedule covers topics such as programming, technology, data science, and the development of soft skills.
This way, participants can develop competencies that go beyond technical knowledge.
They strengthen essential behavioral skills.
It’s worth noting that, by May 2024, Data4All had already reached more than 10,000 students, 2,000 completed courses, and 422 exams taken in Brazil, Peru, and Mexico.
