Demolition of mansion next to Gisele Bündchen’s house in Surfside increases interest in the new configuration of the model’s property in Miami, in an area by the Biscayne Bay marked by high-end properties and a strong presence of celebrities.
Gisele Bündchen ordered the demolition of a mansion next to the house where she lives in Surfside, in the Miami area, to expand her property by the Biscayne Bay, in the United States.
Purchased by the Brazilian model for US$ 14.5 million, the property had a value equivalent to about R$ 73.3 million, according to the exchange rate used by media outlets reporting the real estate transaction.
The residence was next to the supermodel’s main house and occupied a plot with direct access to the water, a common feature in high-end properties located in this part of Florida.

Aerial images released by the international press showed the structure already demolished, indicating the progress of the intervention at the address chosen by Gisele for her family routine in the United States.
With about 645 m², the removed mansion featured a pool, private spa, garden surrounded by palm trees, six bathrooms, and a pier facing Biscayne Bay.
The area is expected to be incorporated into the model’s residential complex, which expands the available space within the plot and increases the property’s extension for leisure, circulation, and privacy.
Expansion of Gisele Bündchen’s mansion in Surfside

The purchase of the neighboring property was reported by American media as part of a movement to expand Gisele’s address in Surfside, a municipality that gathers high-end houses, reserved streets, and valued plots on the coast.
Located north of Miami Beach, the region concentrates luxury residences and properties with water access, in addition to being close to well-known high-end real estate areas in South Florida.
In Gisele’s case, the expansion occurs at an address associated with her routine in Florida since the end of her marriage to Tom Brady, finalized in October 2022.
The model had already bought a mansion in Surfside in 2022, for US$ 11.5 million, shortly after the divorce, and underwent a renovation before establishing the place as one of the family’s residences.
The main house has a view of the water, a pool, and a pier, and is also close to Indian Creek, a residential island where Brady also maintains a property.
According to the American press, the reduced distance between the addresses was pointed out as an element that facilitates the coexistence of Benjamin and Vivian with both parents after the separation.
New Family Phase for Gisele Bündchen in Miami
Gisele is experiencing a different family phase than when she bought her first big house in Surfside, as her routine now includes a new marriage and the birth of her third child.
The Brazilian is the mother of Benjamin and Vivian, children from her marriage to Tom Brady, and also of a boy born in February 2025, from her relationship with Joaquim Valente.

Benjamin and Vivian appear in recent reports as teenagers, with updated ages of 16 and 13 years, respectively, considering the public birth records of the model’s two children.
Gisele and Joaquim’s youngest son had only his middle name publicly disclosed, River, while the child’s first name has not been confirmed by the family.
Joaquim Valente, a Brazilian and jiu-jitsu instructor, became publicly associated with the model after her separation from Brady, amid records of the two’s coexistence in Florida.
People magazine reported that Gisele and Joaquim got married in December 2025, in a private ceremony in Surfside, after the birth of the couple’s first child.
In recent years, Gisele’s public presence has been marked by occasional professional commitments, family trips, and more sporadic records, while her routine in Florida has gained greater prominence in the international press.
The change in pace is also reflected in the choice of addresses with more controlled access and less direct exposure, a common feature in high-standard residential areas of the Miami region.
Tom Brady’s House is on the Other Side of Biscayne Bay
On the other side of Biscayne Bay is Indian Creek, a private island that houses some of the most valuable residences in the United States and maintains restricted access to residents and authorized visitors.
The place is called by the international press as “Billionaires’ Bunker” for bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, celebrities, and high-net-worth individuals, including figures associated with the technology and finance markets.
Tom Brady, ex-husband of Gisele and former American football player with seven Super Bowl titles, also has a mansion in the Indian Creek area.

The proximity between the properties gained attention because Benjamin and Vivian move between their parents’ houses, who announced their divorce in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage.
Even with separate routines, the configuration of the addresses keeps both family units in areas close to Biscayne Bay, which reduces travel compared to more distant residences.
This residential arrangement was covered by American media as part of the family organization maintained after the divorce, especially because Gisele and Brady’s children continue to interact with both.
The decision to buy the neighboring land also follows a practice seen in Miami’s luxury market, where owners acquire adjacent areas to expand already existing lots.
In regions with a limited supply of waterfront land, incorporating a neighboring property can alter the usable size of the set without requiring a move to another address.
Luxury Market in Miami and Waterfront Land
Biscayne Bay is part of one of the most valuable real estate areas in the Miami region for offering open views, nautical access, and proximity to private islands and high-standard residential neighborhoods.
In places like Surfside and Bal Harbour, houses with piers and waterfronts frequently appear among the most expensive properties listed on the local market.
The demolished mansion featured characteristics associated with this segment, such as a large outdoor area, pool, spa, and direct access to the bay, in addition to occupying land adjacent to Gisele’s main residence.

With the demolition, the land now serves a function related to the expansion of the existing property, while the previous construction no longer forms part of the final configuration of the address.
Although details of the new project have not been officially disclosed, the incorporation of the neighboring area expands the family’s private use area within the same residential complex.
The change also increases the extent of the land facing the water, a valued feature in high-end homes located in coastal areas of Florida.
Gisele owns other properties in the state, but Surfside appears as the address most associated with the model’s current routine since her move to the Miami area.
The area features high-value residences, access to Biscayne Bay, and a more reserved residential profile, factors often cited in reports on the local real estate market.
The demolition of the US$ 14.5 million mansion concludes the most visible stage of purchasing the neighboring land and opens space for a new residential configuration in Surfside.
So far, there is no public confirmation about the final design of the work, the construction schedule, or the total cost of the property expansion.
