Xiaomi launched a dishwasher with floor projection instead of a screen, capacity for 18 place settings, and a quick cycle of 59 minutes, but it is not available in Brazil.
Xiaomi has just introduced the Mijia Smart Dishwasher Pro 18-Set, its new smart dishwasher, with a feature that draws attention right away: the device does not have a traditional display. Instead, information about the washing cycle — such as status and remaining time — is displayed through a projection system directly on the kitchen floor. The equipment is available in China on the Youpin platform for 6,999 yuan, equivalent to approximately R$ 5,098, and there is no confirmation of its arrival on the global market yet.
Xiaomi dishwasher: capacity and design designed for large volumes
The model holds up to 18 place settings, allowing washing of about 130 pieces at once — an unusual capacity even among premium category appliances. The interior follows a layout described by the manufacturer as “Chinese style,” designed for better space utilization and organization of utensils.
With dimensions of 598 x 775 x 570 mm and a weight of 45.5 kg, the equipment was designed to fit into built-in kitchen modules, facilitating installation.

How does the washing system work?
To ensure efficient cleaning for such large loads, Xiaomi equipped the appliance with three spray arms that operate in multiple phases. The system creates a “vortex” effect so that water and detergent reach even the most difficult points inside.
The power behind this performance comes from a dual-frequency BLDC motor, capable of generating pressure up to 52,000 Pa — enough to handle more resistant dirt without compromising the final result.
Additionally, the model features a dual-channel disinfection system, with a maximum temperature of 135 °C, ensuring deeper sanitization of washed items.
Smart features and integration with the Mi Home ecosystem
As part of the Mijia line, the appliance is compatible with Xiaomi’s Mi Home platform, allowing remote control and automation via the app. There are 16 main programs plus 4 additional modes, offering flexibility for different usage needs.
Another highlight is the quick wash and dry mode in just 59 minutes. At the end of the cycle, the door opens automatically to release accumulated steam and speed up the natural drying of the dishes.
The internal reservoir holds 450 ml of liquid detergent — enough volume for up to three weeks of use, according to the manufacturer, reducing the need for frequent refills.

For now, the Mijia Smart Dishwasher Pro 18-Set is exclusively available in the Chinese market through the Youpin sales platform. Xiaomi has not yet released any information about expansion to the global market — including Brazil.
