Google has announced the opening of the selection process for its home office internship program. There are available positions for computer science students or related fields from all over Brazil, in a remote work arrangement.

The internship positions at the world’s leading technology company are for directly participating in the development of features for the company’s main products, including “Search,” one of the central areas of the Google engineering office’s operations in Latin America, located in Belo Horizonte (MG).

Intern Responsibilities

Apply the knowledge gained in computer science courses to real-world problems.
Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution for solving problems effectively.
Develop scripts to automate routine tasks.
Create and support a productive and innovative team. This includes working with peers, managers, and teams.

Requirements to Participate in the Positions

It is important to note that to participate in the selection for Google’s home office internship positions, it is necessary to be proficient in English and expect to graduate between December 2021 and July 2022.

Google also requests that interns have prior experience in one or more of the following programming languages: C, C++, Java, JavaScript, or Python. The internship contract varies between 3 and 6 months.
