São Paulo Government Opens Registration for 20,000 Positions in Free Online Professional Training Courses

The Government of SP Announced The Opening Of Thousands Of Free Professional Qualification Courses In The Most Diverse Areas Of Study.

The Government of SP announced this Thursday (26), through the Secretariat of Economic Development, the opening of 20 thousand new places in free professional qualification courses in its Novotec Virtual program. In total, there are eight options of courses in the areas of management, information technology, and languages. All courses are online and free, and they are divided into the following categories: Database, Web Development, Basic Mobile Developer in Spanish, Administrative Management, Company Finance, Programming Logic, and Business Planning.

DATABASE

This course aims to provide knowledge for the student to qualify in designing, implementing, and building databases, as well as applying the SQL language and demonstrating proactivity and initiative in developing these activities.

MOBILE DEVELOPER

In this course, the student will learn to use the essential tools of Android Studio to initiate their journey in the world of mobile development.

WEB DEVELOPMENT

This course provides knowledge in tools and languages that will assist in developing web pages with functionalities ranging from the most basic to the most advanced.

PROGRAMMING LOGIC

This course aims to teach tools to understand the foundations of software construction. Rules and structured concepts will be taught in steps that will allow the candidate to enter the world of programming and system development, regardless of the language that will be used in the future.

It is important to highlight that the classes have a duration of 80 hours and will be taught through the platform of the Virtual University of the State of São Paulo (Univesp).

Young people aged 14 to 24 who have completed elementary school will be able to participate in the free online professional qualification courses.

How To Enroll In The Free Online Courses?

According to the government of SP, the Novotec Virtual aims to expand skills and boost learning. According to the Secretary of Economic Development, Zeina Latif, providing free courses that enhance the careers of young people in the state is a mission that the state has been fulfilling, expanding the skills of students and meeting the needs of the job market.

Enrollment for the free professional qualification courses of the Government of SP must be done through the program’s website.

The calling of young people will occur via email. After enrollment is confirmed, the student must complete the total course load of the professional qualification course within three months to receive the certificate.

Novotec App

To assist in choosing careers, the Seu Futuro Novotec App helps students with their digital careers through a vocational quiz. In addition, it is possible to obtain information about the job market, discover what is necessary to learn in each profession, access testimonials from industry experts in technology, and also where to start their studies, all completely free.

The app is recommended for young people aged 14 and up. In addition to Novotec Virtual, there is also Novotec Expresso, which offers professional qualification courses with guaranteed certification.

Novotec Integrado where students take technical courses integrated with high school classes and subjects during the same period of study.

And finally, Novotec Móvel, where the courses come to the students. There are opportunities for professional qualification with 80 to 100 hours in mobile units.
