The Market Is Promising and Investments Are More Than Necessary
According to the head of Helisul Drones, Lucas Fontoura, the market has been showing promise and now there are technologies aimed at cargo transportation through aircraft without the presence of pilots. In other words, it is possible to monitor where it is and where it is going entirely remotely, thus ensuring more practicality and safety for everyone involved. Not to mention that this brings more economy to the processes.
The executive insists that Helisul has an advantage that other brands do not have, which is the production of more sophisticated and automated items. That is, they require a high level of rigidity to carry out their processes. Therefore, transport safety of cargo is reaching ever higher levels and demands elevated responsibility.
Lucas states that a series of engineers and specialists need to work together to ensure everything functions and that heavy weights can be lifted safely. It takes years of research to operate in this network. According to him, it is precisely in this niche that the brand is relying on and intends to embrace in the coming years.
Learn More About the Company
The institution was founded in the early 1970s and received the name Tropical Air Taxi. The initial intent was to operate only with transport occurring in Foz do Iguaçu and to establish partnerships with a local hotel company.
However, it was during the 1990s that they managed to expand even further in the market they were operating in. With the assurance that there would be an increasingly specialized team for the automation and technological development of cargo and drones. Now, they have more than 14 bases distributed across various Brazilian regions, such as São Paulo and Santa Catarina, mostly through capitals.
Now, they operate in all specialized air services (SAE) and ground support for third-party aircraft (FBO). In other words, they manage aircraft chartering – with more than 50 of them administered by the institution – air medical transport, and other related areas.
