Honda plans to launch the new CB 150R model in Brazil to replace the Titan 160, a novelty already present in the Asian market and registered in the country.

Registered in Brazil in 2019, the Honda CB 150R StreetFire has not yet been launched on the national market. This registration practice, common by Honda, aims to protect its models from being replicated by competitors, thus maintaining exclusive rights over its motorcycles that may be introduced in Brazil in the future. If sold in the country, the Honda CB 150R could position itself as a strong competitor to the Titan 160 and Yamaha FZ15, shaking the segment motorcycles.

New Honda CB 150R can reach 145 km/h

Honda CB 150R has the potential to stand out in the Brazilian market, surpassing the Titan 160 in terms of power. While the popular Titan 160 available in Brazil offers 14,9 horsepower, the Honda CB 150R raises the bar with its 16,9 horsepower.

Comparatively, the Yamaha Fazer, despite its modest 12 horsepower, stands out in design and is a sales leader, offering sophistication to Brazilian consumers. The Honda CB 150R engine, with 149,1 cc and one cylinder, delivers 16,9 horsepower at 9 thousand RPM and a maximum torque of 1,41 kgfm at 7 thousand RPM. Notably, this competing model of the Titan 160 also stands out for its efficient consumption, reaching an average of 40,5 km/l.

The front suspension of the Honda CB 150R is an attraction in itself, being inverted and with a gold finish, ideal for both travel and daily use, adapting well to Brazil's potholed roads. The CB 150R has a monoshock suspension at the rear, unlike the Titan 160 which has two shock absorbers, offering a different driving experience. As for performance, the CB 150R accelerates from 0 to 100 meters in just 10,5 seconds and can reach a top speed of 145 km/h.

Items included in the new Honda CB 150R

Regarding safety, the Honda CB 150R offers ABS brakes on both the front and rear, with a front disc and a rear disc as well. The front is 276mm and the rear is 220mm. On the Titan 160 it is only possible to find disc brakes at the front. This way, it would be much more viable to bring the model to the Brazilian market, being a worthy competitor for Yamaha Fz15.

At the front of the Honda motorcycle you can find a Full LED headlight, as well as at the rear and on the turn signals. Its dashboard is complete, fully digital with Black-Out, where data such as RPM, total or partial damage, gasoline gauge and other various functions that Honda offers are reported.

The design of this rival bike to the Titan 160 is surprising, with its seat providing comfort for both the passenger and the rider. Its handlebars, like the stem, are much more sophisticated, as is the entire bike. The contact switch is located directly on the fuel tank. fuel, which has an aviator opening, bringing comfort to the pilot when refueling.

In direct conversion, the Honda CB 150R costs just R$7,6 without conversion fee, interest and tax. The model also has 17-inch alloy wheels at both the front and rear. Furthermore, its 6-speed gearbox provides more versatility in various driving conditions.

The fuel tank with a capacity of 8,5 liters guarantees plenty of autonomy, so you can travel long distances with confidence. Finally, the Honda CB 150R will be available in new colors, namely: white, blue and red; black, gray and red and other options.
