The Scholarship Program Is Part Of The INOVA Talentos Project, Partnership Between IEL And Ford Brazil, And Offers Positions To Engineering And Computer Science Professionals And Students
The INOVA Talentos program from IEL Bahia, in partnership with Ford Brazil, has new positions available for research scholarships. These positions are generally intended for professionals and students in fields related to engineering and computer science.
This program stimulates the development of research, development, and innovation (PD&I) projects by allocating scholarship holders with characteristics appropriate to the project’s needs, in addition to contributing to the growth and evolution of professionals with an innovative mindset. Among the supported projects are those related to product, organizational, service, process, marketing, and business model innovation.
There Are Different Types Of Scholarships Offered By INOVA Talentos
The extension scholarships offered by the program have multiple modalities, being classified into PD&I – Research, Development, and Innovation, which mainly require formal education, and EV – Visiting Expert, whose main premise is focused on years of experience.

The Scholarship Amounts May Vary Depending On The Candidates’ Level Of Experience And Qualification
As an example of the available positions, the following can be mentioned:
- Scholar for Materials Engineering Project (Aluminum): The candidate must be graduated or currently studying in engineering, computer science, or related technology fields. Duration is 5 months, with work from home. The scholarship can be R$ 2,500.00 for graduates with up to 5 years of experience or R$ 3,000.00 for professionals with a master’s degree.
- Scholar for Embedded Systems Software Development Project: A completed degree in computer engineering, mechatronics, computer science, or related fields is required. Work from home and duration is 12 months. The scholarship can be R$ 4,000.00 for candidates with at least 5 years of experience or R$ 2,500.00 for those with up to 5 years of experience.
- Scholar for Software Development Project: The candidate must be graduated or currently studying in mechanical engineering, computer engineering, mechatronics engineering, or electrical engineering. The duration is 12 months, and the work is also from home. As for the amounts of the scholarship, it can be R$ 4,000.00 for graduates with at least 5 years of experience, R$ 2,500.00 for graduates with up to 5 years of experience, or R$ 1,500.00 for undergraduates.
- Scholar in Functional Safety Project: The candidate must be an undergraduate in mechanical, mechatronics, electrical, computer, software engineering, or related fields. The duration is 3 months, while the work is from home. The scholarship amount is R$ 1,500.00 for undergraduates.
- Scholar in Projects/Technology Area: A completed degree in engineering, computer science, data science, or software development is required. The duration is 10 months, and the work is also from home. The scholarship amount is R$ 4,000.00 for graduates in the technology field or graduates with at least 5 years of experience.
- Scholar for Data Science/Technology Project: The candidate must have a completed degree in engineering, computer science, data science, or software development. The duration is 10 months, with work from home. The scholarship amount is R$ 4,000.00 for graduates in the technology field or graduates with at least 5 years of experience.
