In Phase 2, the scholarship increases to R$600 per month during the three months of technological residency. The accumulation of other scholarships is allowed, provided that the student proves availability for the required hours.
To receive the scholarship, it is necessary to provide a checking account at Banco do Brasil in the candidate’s name at the time of registration, as stated in the official notice. The Betim campus has also reinforced this guideline in its official communication.
Workload, Format, and Learning Pathways
Phase 1 has 144 in-person hours, with 6 hours of classes per week over six months. The focus is on practical learning in Front-end and Back-end, covering logic, programming, and application development. In Phase 2, there are 56 hours dedicated to technological challenges with companies, to solidify the portfolio and experience.
In addition to general pathways for software development, some poles may organize classes by programming language or specific focus, such as Back-end in Python and Back-end with JavaScript, depending on local availability.
Registrations, Test, and Schedule
Registrations are free and will be open from August 6 to 18 online. The selection process takes place through a written test on August 24, at 2 PM, lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The evaluation consists of 20 multiple-choice questions, with 15 on logical reasoning and 5 on mathematics. The test locations are at the poles where the classes will be offered.
The results and other announcements are published on the official pages of the program and IFMG. To keep track, it is essential to check the notifications after registration and keep the documents updated for enrollment.
To participate, candidates must be at least 18 years old by the end of the training, have completed high school or have it completed by the date specified in the notice, have studied in a public school or a private school with a full scholarship, and reside in Minas Gerais.
