IFMS Is Offering More Than 1,000 Spots in Free Technical Courses in the Areas of Administration, Construction, Computer Science, Among Others. The Courses Will Be Taught in Distance Learning Format, But with an In-Person Meeting During the Week
The Federal Institute of Mato Grosso do Sul (IFMS) has opened registrations for its subsequent free technical courses. In total, there are 1,140 spots available in 17 municipalities in the state. The courses will be taught in distance education (EAD) format, with virtual classes and one in-person meeting at the unit, so candidates must be available to attend weekly at IFMS.

Administration
Here, students will find a well-diversified curriculum, which includes subjects on Law, Sociology, Economics, Mathematics, Psychology, and Accounting.
Construction
In this category, successful candidates will study technical planning, basic drawing, soil study, building and electrical installations, people management, economic planning, budgeting, and production management.
Maintenance and Support in Computer Science
In this course, students will be trained to install, maintain, and configure computer equipment, configure and manage computer networks, as well as provide support in using various software in identifying needs for technology updates or replacements.
The aforementioned free EAD technical courses are being offered in the following municipalities: Água Clara, Camapuã, Aquidauana, Corumbá, Campo Grande, Coxim, Costa Rica, Figueirão, Dourados, Naviraí, Jardim, Nova Andradina, Nova Alvorada do Sul, Ribas do Rio Pardo, Ponta Porã, Sonora, and São Gabriel do Oeste.
Understand How the Selection Process for IFMS EAD Opportunities Will Work
More than 1,000 spots in free technical courses will be offered through a virtual draw; of this total, there is a percentage for people with a monthly family income equal to or less than one and a half minimum wages per capita. There is also a percentage for those who declare themselves Black, Indigenous, Brown, and People with Disabilities (PwD).
It is worth remembering that all these conditions met by the quota system must be proven by the candidates. The list of accepted registrations will be published on January 11 of next year, and on January 17 the draw for filling the spots will take place. Once this is done, successful candidates must enroll in February.
Submit Your Application
Applications are free and can be submitted until January 9 through the IFMS website. If interested parties do not have internet access, they can seek in-person assistance at the Relationship Center (Cerel) at the IFMS campus or center in the municipalities offering spots in free EAD technical courses to register for their application.
Service is provided from Monday to Friday, except for holidays and breaks. It is important to note that in order to apply, it is necessary to register on the platform using CPF and email.
