IFMS opens 1.140 vacancies in free distance technical courses (EAD)

IFMS is offering more than 1 vacancies in free technical courses in the areas of Administration, Buildings, IT, among others. The courses will be taught in the EAD modality, but with a face-to-face meeting during the week

The Federal Institute of Mato Grosso do Sul (IFMS) has opened enrollment for its subsequent free technical courses. In total, there are 1.140 vacancies available in 17 municipalities in the state. The courses will be taught in the form of distance education (EAD), with virtual classes and a face-to-face meeting at the unit, so it is necessary for candidates to be available to attend the IFMS weekly.

Those interested in participating in one of the courses can choose between the following courses:

Business Administration

Here students will find a very diversified curriculum, which includes subjects on Law, Sociology, Economics, Mathematics, Psychology and Accounting.

Buildings

In this category, those approved will study technical planning, basic design, soil study, building and electrical installations, people management, economic planning and budget and production management.

Computer Maintenance and Support

In this course, students will be trained to install, maintain and configure computer equipment, configure and manage computer networks, in addition to providing support in the use of the most varied software to identify needs for technological updating or replacement.

The free EAD technical courses mentioned above are being offered to the following municipalities: Água Clara, Camapuã, Aquidauana, Corumbá, Campo Grande, Coxim, Costa Rica, Figueirão, Dourados, Naviraí, Jardim, Nova Andradina, Nova Alvorada do Sul, Ribas do Rio Pardo, Ponta Porã, Sonora and São Gabriel do Oeste.

Understand how the selection process for IFMS distance learning opportunities will work

The more than 1 vacancies in free technical courses will be offered through a virtual draw, of which there is a percentage for people with a monthly family income equal to or less than one and a half minimum wages per capita. And there is also a percentage for those who declare themselves to be black, indigenous, brown and people with disabilities (PcD).

Remembering that all these conditions that are met by the quota system must be proven by the candidates. The list of accepted registrations will be released on January 11 of the next year, and on the 17th of this month a draw will be held to fill the vacancies. Once this is done, successful candidates must enroll in the month of February.

Register

Registration is free and can be done until January 9th through the IFMS website. If interested parties do not have internet access, they can seek face-to-face assistance at the Relationship Center (Cerel) on the IFMS campus or center of the municipalities that are offering vacancies in free distance-learning technical courses to register.

The service is provided from Monday to Friday, except for holidays and recess. It is worth mentioning that, in order to register, it is necessary to register on the platform using the CPF and e-mail.
