IFMS – Federal Institute of Mato Grosso do Sul is accepting applications for free courses, with approximately 1,240 openings in distance professional qualification courses. The opportunities are expected to begin in the first semester of 2021.
The openings for the free courses offered by IFMS are in the following areas: Basic Spanish Level I and II, Basic English Level I and II, Computer Operator, and Salesperson, among many others that are expected to be announced in 2021.

The free course openings at IFMS are distributed across a total of 14 municipalities, including: Aquidauana, Água Clara, Camapuã, Campo Grande, Corumbá, Costa Rica, Coxim, Dourados, Naviraí, Nova Andradina, Pedro Gomes, Ponta Porã, Sonora, and Três Lagoas.
The free courses are offered in the FIC (Initial and Continuing Education) format, with all free courses lasting between 3 to 5 months, and students will participate in weekly in-person meetings.

Registrations for the Free Course Openings at IFMS Can Be Made Through the Website
Registrations for the openings in the free courses at IFMS are completely free and must be made by January 27, 2021, through the official IFMS website. Participants will be selected and ranked by electronic lottery, which will take place on February 2.
The requirements for the openings in the free courses generally require completion of elementary education I and II, completion of the FIC Basic Spanish I course, or verified prior knowledge in English or Spanish, and in other cases, it is sufficient to be enrolled in or have completed high school.
The selection process for FIC 2021/1 will be conducted through electronic lottery via web conference, with the link to be widely published on the IFMS website at 3 PM on February 2, 2021.
