Requirements for Registration
Professionals with undergraduate and graduate degrees in the area corresponding to the course they wish to work in may apply.
The selection requires a minimum of one year of teaching experience, as well as proof of current affiliation with the public network or with teacher training programs from the MEC.
It is also necessary to have infrastructure for remote work, such as a computer and stable internet access.
The notice emphasizes that it is not allowed to accumulate scholarships granted by Capes or CNPq, a rule that applies throughout the entire period of activity.
Functions and Routine of Tutors
The role involves pedagogical mediation of classes in the distance learning modality.
Among the responsibilities are monitoring forums, projects, and assessment activities, answering students’ questions, and participating in weekly planning meetings with the course team.
Although the routine is predominantly home office, the notice provides for occasional in-person meetings at IFPE centers, when called by the coordination.
The minimum daily dedication is two hours, with regular interaction in the AVA for monitoring and feedback.
Covered Courses and Reserve Registration
The vacancies cover licensures in Geography and Mathematics, the course of Environmental Management, and various specializations offered by the institution, including Teaching, Distance Education, Public Management, Environmental Management, Science Teaching, and Mathematics Teaching.
In addition to immediate opportunities, the notice establishes a reserve registration, a mechanism that qualifies candidates for future calls based on the academic needs of the participating courses and centers.
Curriculum Evaluation and Scoring Criteria
The selection process will occur through curriculum analysis with a maximum score of 100 points.
The evaluation considers academic training, teaching experience, and previous work in distance education.
Degrees, certifications, and proof of experience must be presented at the time of registration in PDF files, following the organization requested in the notice’s guidelines.
In the event of a tie, objective criteria outlined in the regulations will define the ranking order, prioritizing the profile most aligned with the course’s demands.
Affirmative Vacancies and Documentation
The notice reserves 25% of vacancies for candidates from historically underrepresented groups, including Black, Brown, Indigenous people, people with disabilities, transgender, and transvestite individuals.
To compete in these categories, it is essential to present supporting documentation according to the parameters defined by the institution.
The committee may request additional verification if there is any inconsistency in the documents, complying with heteroidentification standards and the institution’s internal inclusion procedures.
Registrations and Fee
Registrations must be made exclusively on the portal selecoes.ead.ifpe.edu.br.
The candidate needs to fill out the electronic form, attach the required supporting documents, and make the payment of the fee, except in cases of exemption provided for by the notice.
It is recommended to pay attention to the deadlines for submission and validation of documents, as well as the quality of the files submitted.
The system only accepts formats indicated by the committee, and illegible documents, those outside the standard, or lacking verifiable authenticity may be disregarded in the analysis.
Scholarship Conditions
The R$ 1,100 scholarship is funded by Capes and will be paid exclusively during the period of activity, according to the course schedule and the number of classes assigned to the tutor.
The maintenance of the benefit depends on fulfillment of activities, attendance records, and pedagogical deliveries defined by the coordination.
Any improper accumulation of scholarships or failure to meet obligations may result in dismissal and recovery of funds, as per applicable legislation.
Certification and Professional Value
At the end of the activities, the certificate issued by IFPE has national validity, which strengthens the professional record of the selected tutor.
The document attests to the experience in pedagogical mediation in distance education, an aspect valued by educational networks, continuing education programs, and selection processes looking for professionals with mastery of educational technologies.
In addition to formal recognition, the experience in courses linked to the UAB System enhances familiarity with remote teaching practices, lesson planning in AVA, and monitoring classes with diverse profiles.
Monitoring of Students
During the tutoring contract period, continuous interaction with students is expected through messages, forums, and individualized feedback.
The assessment activities must follow criteria previously defined by the coordinations, with clear deadlines for correction and feedback.
Periodic meetings with teachers and the course team align strategies for pedagogical monitoring, interventions in cases of low performance, and guidance for study planning.
Whenever there is a call for in-person actions at the centers, the tutor’s participation is considered an integral part of the academic routine.
Deadlines and Final Guidelines
The registration deadline ends on September 18.
It is essential to carefully review the form, check the consistency of the information, and ensure that all proofs have been attached in the correct order and accepted formats.
After submission, the candidate should monitor official communications for any corrections, announcements of partial results, and publication of the final list of approved candidates.
Operational doubts are usually clarified by the course coordinations and the team responsible for the selection process, through the channels indicated in the notice.
With the scholarship defined, remote routine, and curriculum analysis process, the selection seeks profiles that combine teaching experience and familiarity with distance education; among the requirements and opportunities presented, which aspect weighs the most in your decision to participate?
