UFPI Offers Specialization In Teaching Chemistry With 120 Spots
The Federal University of Piauí (UFPI) is open for enrollment for a free 100% online course in Teaching Chemistry and Its Technologies. The course is the result of a partnership between UFPI and the Basic Education Secretariat (SEB) of the Ministry of Education (MEC). Interested individuals have until August 19, 2024, to enroll.
UFPI’s free course offers 120 spots, evenly divided between the locations of Teresina and Picos. These locations will be used only for documentation purposes, allowing students to reside anywhere in Brazil and complete the entire process virtually.

There are 120 spots for the free specialization, evenly divided between the locations of Teresina and Picos, with 60 spots for each location.

How To Enroll?
To enroll in the free course, it is necessary to have a degree recognized by MEC or validated in Brazil. Furthermore, it is essential to have access to a computer with internet and basic computer skills. Enrollment can be done until 08/19/2024, through the link: SIGAA UFPI.

The specialization has a workload of 360 hours and a duration of 12 months. The free course offers modern and relevant subjects, such as “Fundamentals of Applied Chemistry to Teaching”, “New Technologies in Teaching Chemistry”, and “Sustainable Chemistry”. Other topics include “Chemistry of Everyday Life”, “Inclusive Practices in Teaching Chemistry”, and “Experimentation in Teaching Chemistry – Virtual and Traditional”.
