The free technical courses at IFSP are offered at various campuses throughout the state of São Paulo, ensuring access to quality education in different regions. Among the participating campuses are: Araraquara, Avaré, Barretos, Bauru, Birigui, Boituva, Bragança Paulista, Campinas, Campos do Jordão, Capivari, Caraguatatuba, Catanduva, Cubatão, Guarulhos, Hortolândia, Ilha Solteira, Itapetininga, Itaquaquecetuba, Jacareí, Jundiaí, Matão, Piracicaba, Pirituba, Presidente Epitácio, Presidente Prudente, Registro, Salto, São Carlos, São João da Boa Vista, São José dos Campos, São José do Rio Preto, São Miguel Paulista, São Paulo, São Roque, Sertãozinho, Sorocaba, Suzano, Tupã, and Votuporanga. Each unit offers a range of courses focused on technical training, both in-person and EAD, meeting different demands and student profiles.

Who Can Register and What Are the Requirements?

To participate in the selection process for the free technical courses at IFSP, candidates must meet some essential requirements. It is necessary to have completed elementary school or be enrolled in high school, depending on the course modality chosen (integrated, concurrent, or subsequent). Additionally, it is essential to have a personal CPF and correctly fill out the registration form on the IFSP portal within the stipulated deadline. Some courses may require a minimum age or prior knowledge, which will be specified in the announcement. A careful reading of the announcement and fulfillment of all requirements are fundamental to guarantee participation.

How Does the Selection Process Work?

The selection process for the free technical courses at IFSP involves a test with 30 multiple-choice questions, divided between the subjects of Portuguese Language and Mathematics. The test will be applied on October 20, 2024, and candidates must stay alert to the time and location, which will be announced on the selection process portal.

Enrollment for those approved in the selection process for the free technical courses at IFSP starts on January 8, 2025. Candidates should pay attention to the calls, which will be made on the official website of the selection process. Spots are limited, and those who do not enroll within the deadline will be automatically disqualified.

Spots are distributed across various IFSP campuses, and in-person enrollments must be done directly at the unit where the candidate was approved. For EAD courses, enrollments can also be done online.
