In total, the institute is offering 40 vacancies for teenagers aged between 18 (06/01/2003) and 17 (03/31/2004) in Ribeirão Preto (SP), who are finishing high school in 2021 at public educational institutions.
The free course from 3M will start in October 2021 and will end in May 2022, with a duration of 8 hours per day. Due to social distancing caused by the pandemic, classes will be conducted in EAD format.

Requirements of 3M to Participate in the Selection Process
To register for the 3M selection process and compete for free EAD courses in SP, candidates must have a family per capita income of no more than one minimum wage and also be available during business hours. Those already enrolled in another professional qualification course may not participate in the selection process, as well as children of 3M employees or service providers of the institution.
Those approved in the selection process in SP will receive a scholarship of half a minimum wage, and in addition, they will also receive benefits such as transportation, meals, medical assistance, life insurance, dental assistance, uniform, and school materials to use during the free course.

The Formare Program was developed by the Iochpe Foundation, with the support of various companies and industries in the country. Since its inception, the Program has trained around 450 young people in 3M units, with 65 of them in Ribeirão Preto (SP).
The 3M Institute was founded in 2006 with the goal of contributing to social transformation, bringing more entrepreneurship, citizenship, ethical values, and sustainability to future generations. Counting all the institution’s projects, it serves 2,200 children aged 12 years and 5,900 teenagers up to 18 years.
