The Federal Institute of North Minas Gerais (IFNMG) announced last Tuesday (12/05) the opening of Notice No. 795, marking the beginning of the selection process that offers 875 slots in free and remote courses offered by the Language Center (Celin). The courses will be 100% online, and at the end, participants will receive certificates. There are courses in English, Spanish, and Brazilian Sign Language for beginners or for those with prior knowledge who wish to advance further.
Federal Institute Offers Various Free Courses to Learn Other Languages
The available courses cover different languages and proficiency levels, catering to a variety of interests and needs.
From basic English to advanced Brazilian Sign Language, participants will have the chance to choose the course most aligned with their learning goals.

- Basic Brazilian Sign Language: 35 slots, 160 hours;
- Advanced Brazilian Sign Language: 35 slots, 160 hours;
- Essay Writing for the Enem: 175 slots, 180 hours.
What Is the Deadline to Register?
Registrations open on December 11 and will remain available until January 3, 2024, at 6 PM.
The registration process is simplified and free, completed through an online form accessible on the official IFNMG website or here.
Required Documentation and Selection Process
To complete the registration, interested parties must fill out the online form and attach documents such as a photo ID (front and back), CPF, and proof of schooling according to the requirements of the chosen course.
The selection of participants will be conducted by a lottery scheduled for January 10.
