Looking for Free English, Spanish, and Writing Courses? The Federal Institute Has 875 Slots Available for All of Brazil. The Classes Are Online, Making It Even Easier for Candidates from Across the Country to Participate.

The Federal Institute of North Minas Gerais (IFNMG) announced last Tuesday (12/05) the opening of Notice No. 795, marking the beginning of the selection process that offers 875 slots in free and remote courses offered by the Language Center (Celin). The courses will be 100% online, and at the end, participants will receive certificates. There are courses in English, Spanish, and Brazilian Sign Language for beginners or for those with prior knowledge who wish to advance further.

The available courses cover different languages and proficiency levels, catering to a variety of interests and needs.

From basic English to advanced Brazilian Sign Language, participants will have the chance to choose the course most aligned with their learning goals.

What Is the Deadline to Register?

Registrations open on December 11 and will remain available until January 3, 2024, at 6 PM.

The registration process is simplified and free, completed through an online form accessible on the official IFNMG website or here.

Required Documentation and Selection Process

To complete the registration, interested parties must fill out the online form and attach documents such as a photo ID (front and back), CPF, and proof of schooling according to the requirements of the chosen course.

The selection of participants will be conducted by a lottery scheduled for January 10.

Who Can Participate and Compete for the Slots Offered by the Federal Institute?

Participation in the selection process is open not only to students and staff of IFNMG but also to the external community, broadening the reach of the initiative and promoting integration among different segments of society.

Questions and Other Information

The free courses, distributed among the various campuses of IFNMG, are scheduled to start at the end of January 2024, extending through October of the same year.

The specific objectives of each course are detailed in the Notice, providing clarity about the content to be covered.
