The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Pará (IFPA) has just opened registrations for the Unified Selection Process (PSU) 2025.1, offering 3,065 spots in Technical Professional Education at the High School Level integrated with high school. This is a great opportunity for students who have completed elementary school and are looking for free and quality technical qualification.

The free technical courses aim to train professionals qualified to work in various technical areas. Lasting up to four years, they combine the general education of high school with specific subjects from the chosen technical area. Classes are in-person and include practical and theoretical activities, such as regular classes, forums, seminars, and evaluations, providing a complete education aligned with market needs.

The 3,065 spots are distributed among the various campuses of the Federal Institute-IFPA, such as Abaetetuba, Altamira, Ananindeua, Bragança, Belém, Breves, Cametá, Castanhal, Conceição do Araguaia, Itaituba, Marabá Industrial, Marabá Rural, Óbidos, Paragominas, Parauapebas, Santarém, and Tucuruí. Each campus offers different courses, and candidates must choose the campus and the course at the time of registration.

Selection Process For The Technical Courses

The selection process will be based on the academic performance of the candidates, considering the grades of Portuguese Language and Mathematics obtained in the 7th and 8th grades of elementary school. There are reserved spots for candidates from public schools and quotas for black, indigenous, quilombola people, and people with disabilities. In addition, the specific affirmative policies of IFPA also apply.

Requirements For Registration

Candidates must have completed or be completing the 9th grade of elementary school. It is also necessary to present a school transcript or an equivalent document at the time of registration. Those opting for quotas or affirmative actions must provide specific supporting documents. To participate, access to the internet is required, as registration and document submission will be carried out online.
