Nestlé’s Investment Will Be Applied to the Launch of New Production Lines and Factory Modernization, Which Will Generate Many Job Opportunities
Nestlé, the world’s largest food and beverage company, will increase its investment in Brazil by 40%. These funds will be allocated for the launch of new lines, improvements, and modernization of factories. In 2019, the company invested a total of R$ 544.6 million.

Brazil is Nestlé’s fourth largest global market, according to company data, and the largest in Latin America. During the results announcement in July, the company reported that sales in the region increased by a single digit, with a high single-digit expansion in the country.
According to Nestlé, all this investment will be redirected to projects at the company’s units across the country. The units that will be invested in for the launch and modernization of their lines are in the factories of Montes Claros (MG), Vila Velha (ES), Feira de Santana (BA), and in the state of São Paulo, the factories of Araçatuba, Araras, Caçapava.

The factory in Vila Velha received a product line of chocolate boxes and display materials for chocolates. In Araçatuba, a production line for children’s products was inaugurated.
