TitanSnap bets on compact magnetic cards to transform the concept of a portable multitool into a modular pocket accessory.
A new type of portable multitool has begun to attract attention among fans of gadgets, technology, and compact accessories.
The TitanSnap, developed by the British company Gadget On, brings together more than 70 tools in titanium magnetic cards. The format stands out because each module is smaller than a common bank card.
The proposal was highlighted by New Atlas in 2026 as a modular alternative for quick tasks, outdoor activities, fishing, technology, and emergency situations.

TitanSnap follows a different logic from conventional multitools.
Instead of gathering everything in a single piece, the gadget divides the functions into independent modules. This way, the user chooses which cards to carry according to the need of the moment.
In daily life, for example, the daily card can help with small adjustments, opening packages, and simple tasks. In outdoor activities, the outdoor card provides resources aimed at improvisations outside the home.
The proposal makes the set more flexible and reduces the volume carried in the pocket. After all, it’s not necessary to carry all the cards all the time.
The product, however, does not replace a complete tool kit. The idea is to offer support in specific situations, focusing on practicality and portability.
Five cards concentrate functions for different situations
The complete TitanSnap set is divided into five main modules. Each card serves a specific type of use.
The daily card is the most comprehensive in the set. It includes up to 22 tools for quick tasks and small repairs.
The outdoor card is designed for outdoor activities, with useful features for improvisations in external environments.
The fishing card offers specific functions for fishermen, including items aimed at handling hooks.
The technology card focuses on mobile phones, support for mobile devices, and chip organization.
The emergency card includes a compass, signaling mirror, and basic tools for unforeseen situations.
This division helps the user carry only what makes sense for each occasion. Thus, the product gains a more practical and less generic proposal.
TC4 Titanium and CNC machining reinforce the compact proposal
The cards are made of TC4 titanium, a material known for its combination of lightness, strength, and durability.
Each piece also undergoes CNC machining, a process that allows for more precise cuts and a more defined finish.
The dimensions reinforce the product’s portable appeal. Each card measures about 4.5 x 7 centimeters and has a thickness between 3 mm and 3.5 mm.
The compact size allows the accessory to be easily carried in a pocket. Even so, the titanium structure aims to maintain sufficient strength for quick uses.
The central magnet system allows stacking the cards when necessary. Even so, each module functions independently.
Price and shipping still depend on crowdfunding
The TitanSnap is campaigning on Kickstarter.
According to information released by the campaign and New Atlas, the complete set with five cards costs about £259, approximately R$ 1,650.
After the initial phase, the expected price rises to £320, about R$ 2,040.
The separate sale of the cards is also planned. This possibility may attract users interested only in a specific module.
The shipping forecast was indicated for October, if the campaign reaches the necessary goal.
Gadget shows there is still room to reinvent simple tools
The TitanSnap does not promise to replace robust tools, professional kits, or specialized equipment.
The proposal is more straightforward: to offer a compact, modular, and easy-to-carry solution for simple tasks, outdoor activities, and support situations.
The titanium magnetic card format makes the product visually intriguing. The modular division also differentiates the gadget from traditional pocket knives and multitools.
