Brazilian Banks Like Itaú, Caixa, Inter and More Launch Campaigns to Settle Debts with Up to 98% Discount, Easy Installments, and Negotiation via App. See How to Take Advantage.
The end of the year has become a real chance to get out of debt! With the arrival of the 13th salary and the payment of PLR in many companies, many people have started to look at overdue bills with a different perspective. It’s no coincidence. Several Brazilian banks are taking advantage of this period to open aggressive negotiations, with terms that rarely appear throughout the year.
The goal is clear: to help clients settle debts, clear their names, and start 2026 with a more organized financial life.
And we’re not talking about small advantages. Discounts reach historic levels, with reductions that can go up to 98% of the original debt amount, in addition to debt installments over long and affordable terms.

Negotiation Became Simpler and Can Be Done Without Leaving Home
The renegotiation campaigns involve both individuals and companies and encompass common daily debts, such as credit cards, overdrafts, payroll loans, and even mortgage financing.
Today, practically everything can be resolved through the bank’s app, online banking, or in person at branches. In some cases, there’s also the option to negotiate through alternative channels, such as lottery houses, which greatly facilitates access for those without constant internet access.
Caixa Econômica Bets on High Discounts and Quick Name Removal from SPC
The Caixa Econômica is one of the institutions that stands out in this round of renegotiation. The public bank offers discounts that can reach 90% of the debt amount, depending on the customer’s profile and the type of contract.
According to information released by the institution on the official website of Caixa Econômica Federal, more than 85% of eligible clients can resolve their debts by paying up to two thousand reais. After the agreement, the name can be removed from the delinquent registries within five business days.
Another important point is that debts of up to five thousand reais can also be negotiated directly at lottery houses, which expands access to the program.
Banco do Brasil, Itaú and Inter Enter Strongly into Renegotiation
The Banco do Brasil has also reinforced its financial regularization campaign. The institution announced discounts of up to 94% on the total debt amount, with personalized proposals according to the customer’s history. More details can be found on the official portal of Banco do Brasil.
Meanwhile, the Itaú adopted a strategy focused on flexibility. The bank offers discounts, lower rates, and installment options that can go up to 72 months, making it easier for those who cannot pay everything at once. The conditions vary depending on the type of contract and can be checked on the Itaú website.
The absolute highlight goes to Inter. The fintech launched the Zero Debt Fair, offering the highest percentage among the mentioned institutions: up to 98% discount, with debt installments for up to 48 months. The campaign gained national visibility and is detailed on the official page of Banco Inter.
Renegotiating Now Can Change Your Financial Life in 2026
Financial education experts emphasize that renegotiating old debts is an essential step to regain control of the budget. In a recent statement, Febraban itself highlighted that actions of this kind help reduce delinquency and allow consumers to regain access to credit responsibly.
The entry conditions, discounts, and number of installments change according to the client’s profile, but the timing is considered strategic. With more money circulating due to the 13th salary, banks are more open to favorable agreements, giving consumers breathing room to reorganize their finances.
