Produced in Porto Real (RJ), the Jeep Avenger Arrives in 2026 to Reorganize the Brand Base in Brazil.

The model changes the game by sharing space with the refreshed Renegade, while details regarding the engine, versions, and prices remain officially unannounced.

Jeep Avenger in Brazil: National Production and Launch Expected in 2026

Jeep is preparing to launch the Avenger in Brazil with national production and an expected debut in 2026, according to communications and public statements from Stellantis.

Internally, the model is expected to occupy the entry-level range of the brand, while the Renegade is likely to move up a tier in the lineup, according to recurring insights from the automotive sector.

The confirmation of the Avenger in the country came last year and was reinforced in public appearances and institutional materials.

At the São Paulo Auto Show in 2025, the SUV was showcased in a staged presentation that referred to a historic episode of Jeep in the United States, reenacting the gesture of “breaking” a glass barrier, as described by reports about the event.

With the arrival of the Avenger, Jeep will also have a national model outside the Goiana (PE) complex, where Renegade, Compass, and Commander are currently produced.

The production of the new SUV, according to Stellantis, will take place in Porto Real (RJ).

Jeep Line: The Role of the Avenger and the Repositioning of the Renegade

The organization of the lineup is expected to undergo adjustments to accommodate the new SUV.

In recent reports about the brand’s products, the Renegade appears as a candidate to receive cabin and technology changes, a move that could practically reposition the model above the level it currently occupies.

According to specialized publications, test sightings indicated a dashboard with a more refined design and elements inspired by the Compass.

Simultaneously, Stellantis has already stated that the Renegade will have the mission of debuting a flex mild-hybrid 48V system in the country.

In this scenario, according to the reading of analysts and journalists in the sector, the trend is that the Avenger takes on the entry-level role, while the Renegade aims for more equipped versions with new features.

Still, Jeep has not officially detailed which versions of the Renegade will remain, which will be discontinued, and how the direct coexistence with the Avenger will be.

Therefore, the final portfolio design remains open.

Porto Real (RJ) and CMP Platform: Why the Avenger is Produced Outside Goiana

The manufacturing of the Avenger in Porto Real (RJ) fits into the industrial strategy already announced by Stellantis for the Fluminense unit.

Today, the plant is responsible for models from Citroën produced in Brazil, such as C3, Aircross, and Basalt, and is expected to incorporate the production of the new Jeep within the investment cycle announced by the company.

There is also a technical reason for the choice.

Unlike Renegade, Compass, and Commander, the Avenger uses the CMP platform, a common architecture in Peugeot and Citroën projects.

This compatibility is often mentioned by experts as a relevant factor in the decision to concentrate production in a factory that already operates with this platform family.

Dimensions of the Jeep Avenger: Measurements, Wheelbase, and Trunk

The Jeep Avenger is a compact SUV.

The disclosed measurements for the model indicate 4.08 meters in length, 1.78 m in width, 1.53 m in height, and 2.56 m in wheelbase.

In direct comparison with the Renegade, it is 22 centimeters shorter but has a wheelbase only 1 cm shorter, a combination that usually influences internal space and urban dynamics.

In the trunk, the numbers cited for the Avenger are 380 liters, above the 320 liters attributed to the Renegade.

This data, if maintained in the Brazilian version, could be a practical argument for consumers prioritizing cargo capacity in a compact SUV.

Given its size and expected positioning, industry analyses place the Avenger in the same market segment of entry-level SUVs that concentrate intense competition in Brazil.

Among the models frequently mentioned are VW Tera, Fiat Pulse, and Renault Kardian, although Jeep has yet to present official comparisons.

Engine of the Avenger in Brazil: What Jeep Has Not Confirmed

Jeep has not confirmed, so far, which engine will equip the Avenger made in Brazil.

Nonetheless, the most mentioned setup in investigations and analyses of the segment is the 1.0 turbo T200 three-cylinder engine, used in Stellantis lines in the country and present in models produced in Porto Real.

This same engine appears in non-electrified versions in some vehicles of the group and, in other applications, can be paired with a mild hybrid 12V system, which Stellantis has already introduced in Brazil in products from certain brands.

Still, there is no public confirmation that the national Avenger will have electrification, nor what architecture would be adopted if the technology is applied.

Meanwhile, Stellantis has indicated that the Renegade will feature the group’s first flex mild-hybrid system of 48V in Brazil, which may clarify the functions of each model within Jeep.

The definition, however, depends on the official announcement of versions, power, torque, consumption, and standard items.

Interior of the Jeep Avenger: Cabin Still Without Details and Possible Changes

Stellantis has avoided showing the interior of the Avenger destined for the Brazilian market.

At the Auto Show, the displayed unit appeared with tinted windows, which limited visibility of the cabin.

The company also has not released detailed images or a complete list of equipment for the national model.

In Europe, the Avenger has been sold since late 2022.

Here, industry reports have indicated that the SUV has undergone clinics with Brazilian consumers, and part of the public evaluated the interior as simpler than the standard associated with Jeep in the country.

As these surveys have not been officially published by the brand, the extent and type of changes in the cabin remain unconfirmed.

In this context, what is known is that the finish of the Brazilian Avenger is one of the most anticipated points, especially because the entry-level positioning requires a balance between cost and perceived quality.

Price of the Jeep Avenger and Launch Date: What is Still Left to Announce

Jeep has not disclosed prices and has not presented a version table for the Avenger in Brazil.

Thus, any price range remains a market projection based on the space that the SUV is expected to occupy.

In practice, the most cited parameter is the range currently served by the Renegade in entry versions, such as the Sport T270, which is priced around R$ 118,290 in market references.

In this reading, the Avenger tends to target the range in which the initial versions of the Renegade currently reside, while the updated Renegade could start at a higher level, depending on additional content and the adoption of the 48V mild hybrid.

As Jeep has not confirmed these numbers, the final price will remain undefined until the commercial announcement.

Regarding the timeline, the most objective public information is the expected arrival in 2026, mentioned by the company.

Reports following sightings and development indicate that the model is still seen camouflaged, which often indicates a phase of adjustments and local validations.

Nonetheless, there is no official date for the start of sales, pre-sales, or complete presentation to the Brazilian public.

With confirmation of national manufacturing and a launch planned for 2026, the Avenger emerges as the next compact SUV from Jeep in the country, but still without detailed engine, versions, items, and prices.
