ANEEL and CCEE Auction Guarantees 50 MW for Isolated Locations in Amazonas and Pará with up to 47% Discount on Electricity Prices, Boosting Investments in Hybrid Plants.
The Supply Auction for Isolated Systems 2025, held this Friday (26) by the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL) in partnership with the Electric Energy Trading Chamber (CCEE), brought results beyond expectations. A total of 50 megawatts (MW) were contracted to serve cities in Amazonas and Pará that are not yet part of the National Interconnected System (SIN).
The competition was marked by intense rivalry, and one of the lots caught attention by achieving a 46.89% discount compared to the ceiling price. In practice, this means consumers will pay less for the electricity tariff, as the remuneration expected for the winners was well below the initial limit set in the bidding notice.
Acre Energies Wins Lot in Amazonas
In Lot 1, designated for Amazonas, the company Acre Energies SPE Ltda. emerged victorious. The project anticipates 20.165 MW of power through five hybrid plants that will combine solar and diesel thermal generation. The units will be installed in Cabori, Camaruã, Limoeiro, Novo Remanso, and Parauá.

The estimated total investment is R$ 72.8 million. The discount applied in the auction was 22.01%, resulting in an annual fixed revenue of R$ 17.5 million during the term of the contract.
Consortium Guarantees Project in Pará with Significant Price Reduction
The highlight of the auction, however, was Lot 3, purchased by the IFX-You.on Consortium – Sisol. The group presented a proposal for a hybrid plant of 30.1 MW in Jacareacanga, Pará.
The project foresees R$ 240 million in investments and ensures an annual fixed revenue of R$ 48.2 million. The discount of nearly 47% was considered one of the highlights of the bidding process, reflecting the strong competition among participants and confidence in the hybrid generation model.
Deadlines and Adjustments of the Bidding Process
The winning projects will have until December 20, 2027 to commence operations. ANEEL stressed that the deadlines are essential to ensure energy security in locations that remain outside SIN.
It is worth noting that, as announced on September 22, Lot 2 was not included in the auction. The decision was made at the request of the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME). This lot would serve cities such as Anamã, Anori, Caapiranga, Codajás, and Coari in Amazonas. The other lots proceeded as planned, ensuring the expansion of electrical infrastructure in isolated regions.
