Solar Energy Can Boost The Economy
According to Ronaldo Koloszuk, president of the Board of Directors of Absolar, solar energy is a strategy aimed at boosting the country’s sustainable economic recovery, strengthening Brazil’s competitiveness and sustainability. Koloszuk also stated:
“Solar photovoltaic energy reduces the cost of electricity for the population, increases the competitiveness of companies, and alleviates the public budget, benefiting small, medium, and large consumers in the country”
The estimated value for investment in the solar energy industry, besides generating jobs and income for the country, also accounts for the savings that consumers will have on their energy bills, receiving a considerable discount, thus demonstrating that the economic benefit of the sector is favorable for both the public power and the Brazilian population.
