State of Alagoas prepared to receive the factory
According to the governor of the state of Alagoas, the arrival of Mercosur Motores is a clear demonstration that the state of Alagoas is prepared to receive investments in all segments. Renan Filho highlighted that this segment of electric motors is a segment that the state is interested in encouraging because it is a clean industry, which replaces the use of fossil fuels and which has many chances of becoming one of the main areas in the near future. of engines for the automobile industry.

Generation of jobs and income in the state of Alagoas
Marcius Beltrão, secretary of Sedetur, points out that the installation of an electric motor factory brings jobs and income to the population of the state of Alagoas and dialogues with the sustainability that many demand at a time of climate change.
“Since the first year in office, Governor Renan Filho has been working very seriously to attract investments to generate jobs and income for the population of Alagoas, and Mercosur is a large company in the sector that brings a goal to Alagoas, which is the manufacture of electric motors for vehicles, a new dynamic in the face of all the climate issues that the world is experiencing”, highlights Marcius Beltrão.

Fibracem announces that by the end of 2022 it will invest more than R$ 4 million in the expansion project of its factory located in the city of Linhares, in the state of Espírito Santo. According to the company's director of planning and operations, Eryck El-Jaick, this new stage of the expansion of the factory will take place to improve the infrastructure and acquire state-of-the-art equipment. The executive also says that, with this additional contribution, Fibracem reaches a total of R$ 20 million invested in the factory. The forecast now is that Fibracem's manufacturing division in Espírito Santo will be responsible for 40% of the company's total industrial production. Until the beginning of August 2021, the factory in Linhares, in Espírito Santo, had more than 60 employees and there were even four new vacancies open. Since last year, the Fibracem unit in the north of Espírito Santo, in addition to the Distribution Center (DC), has also become a manufacturing unit. The expectation is that, in addition to this amount already invested, the company will inject approximately another R$ 7 million in the coming years. “With this, we will total R$ 27 million in investment in the region, as agreed with the local government”, he concludes.
