Most Opportunities Are Concentrated in the Metropolitan Region, Highlighting Service and Commerce Sectors.
The Government of the State of Rio de Janeiro announced this week the opening of 784 formal job opportunities through the Secretary of Labor and Income. The vacancies are distributed across the Metropolitan, Médio Paraíba, and Serrana regions, with a higher concentration in the Metropolitan Region.
Metropolitan Region Concentrates Most Vacancies
In the Metropolitan Region, there are 704 vacancies available, representing 64.7% of the total. Of this number, 174 are exclusive for people with disabilities (PcD).
For this audience, functions such as kitchen assistant, store attendant, and cashier stand out. Salaries range from R$ 1,518 to R$ 3,036.

Médio Paraíba and Serrana Also Have Opportunities
In Médio Paraíba, there are 62 vacancies available, with an average salary of R$ 3,036. Most require complete high school education. There is one opportunity for a lawyer in Valença, along with vacancies for garage attendant and lathe operator.
In the Serrana Region, specifically in Teresópolis, 215 positions were identified. Among them are roles for warehouseman, cleaning assistant, sales clerk, and cashier.
Services and Commerce Lead the Offers
According to the Labor Observatory of the Secretary of Labor and Income, the offered vacancies are mostly in the Services (77.2%) and Commerce (22.8%) sectors.
The predominant educational requirement is complete high school education (52.7%). Regarding remuneration, almost half of the opportunities (48.2%) offer salaries of up to one minimum wage.
Registration in the National Employment System Is Essential
The Secretary of Labor and Income emphasizes the importance of keeping the registration and resume updated in the National Employment System (Sine).
The system matches candidate profiles with vacancies registered by employers.
To register or update data, it is necessary to visit a Sine unit with civil identification documents, work card, PIS/PASEP/NIT/NIS, and CPF.
