According to information, the manager will come to the Campos Basin to present data on the current market situation in the region, such as the Oil Industry Yearbook, which will allow companies to guide their investment decisions and base the composition of their business plans.

In the next two years, for example, the State of Rio de Janeiro has the potential to generate 3,000 new direct job opportunities and 6,000 indirect jobs, starting with the operation of 10 new oil and gas production and exploration systems.

The FPSO Anita Garibaldi, a strategic platform for Petrobras for the revitalization plan of the Campos Basin, which will interconnect 43 oil wells, has finally left the shipyard in China for Brazil.

The FPSO left the DSIC Marine Yard in Dalian and will undergo several anchorage tests for about four days, and then continue its journey to Brazil.

The platform will be installed in the Marlim and Voador fields with production expected to start in the third quarter of 2023, with a production capacity of up to 80,000 barrels of oil per day (bpd) and processing up to 7 million m³ of gas/day and various job opportunities.

Petrobras is investing around US$ 16 billion in the revitalization program for the Campos Basin, an investment that will extend until 2026. This translates to a huge amount of money, which will reflect on the economies of Campos and Macaé, generating more job openings like in the early days of oil exploration.
