Million-Dollar Investment by Chint in Factory in Manaus Should Generate 200 Jobs and Boost the Economy of the State.
Chint announced a BRL 32 million investment for the construction of its first factory in Brazil, in the Industrial Pole of Manaus (PIM). Chint’s goal is to produce smart electric meters at the new factory, contributing to the improvement of energy efficiency in Brazil. The factory will generate up to 200 jobs by the end of 2025, marking an important step for Chint in the country.
Investment and Construction Phases of the Factory
During a visit to the headquarters of the Superintendency of the Free Trade Zone of Manaus (Suframa), Chint, represented by Zhang Ping, CEO of Chint Meters, and Alexandre Suprizzi, executive director of Chint Brazil, detailed the BRL 32 million investment in the factory.
This amount will be used for the construction of the factory in Industrial District I, on Ipê Street, in Manaus.
