What is SMV-OF-RM2 and how does it work?
According to the Navy's announcement, the Voluntary Military Service for Temporary Officers offers 533 vacancies for higher-level professionals who wish to serve the Naval Force for a fixed period of up to 8 years.
The initial salary is R$9.070,60, and can reach up to R$11, depending on experience and position held.
Vacancies are available in various areas, such as Administration, Law, Accounting, Psychology, Social Services, Engineering, Medicine, Health and Health Support, among others.
According to the Navy, the objective of the selection is to ensure reinforcement in operations and the modernization of the institution.
Who can participate and what are the requirements?
To apply, interested parties must meet the following requirements: be a Brazilian citizen, be between 18 and 40 years old by the date of incorporation and have higher education in the area for which they are applying.
The Navy is looking for committed and qualified professionals to work in administrative, operational and technical roles.
The selection process will be carried out in several stages, including an objective test, document analysis, health inspection and physical fitness test.
The selection will be carried out by Naval District, and the deadline for registration is January 6, 2025.
Details about vacancies and the selection process
The vacancies are distributed across several Naval Districts in Brazil, with emphasis on the 1st Naval District (RJ, ES, MG) with 276 vacancies, the 2nd Naval District (BA and SE) with 43 vacancies and the 8th Naval District (SP and PR) with 76 vacancies.

According to the Navy, the selection is aimed at professionals from different specialties, with emphasis on the areas of Health, Engineering and Administration, among others.
Tests, fees and stages of the selection process
The selection process for SMV-OF-RM2 will consist of an objective test with 40 multiple choice questions, covering topics such as Portuguese Language.
The test is scheduled for February 23, 2025.
The registration fee is R$140,00, and candidates must be prepared to face a rigorous selection process.
During the process, there will also be an analysis of titles, which can be an important differentiator for those who want to stand out among their competitors.
