Brazilian Navy Opens 190 Positions for Elementary Education

The Brazilian Navy Published the Announcement to Fill 190 Vacancies for Admission to the Naval School in 2019 (CPACN/2019).

Applicants must be 15 years old and under 18 years old on the first day of January 2020; have completed, with a passing grade or be in the process of completing the 9th year of Elementary School by the deadline specified in the announcement; have authorization from a legal guardian for incorporation into the Navy. The exam date will still be defined, all details for registration will follow.

The “Preparatory Course for Aspirants” in Angra dos Reis, Rio de Janeiro, is intended for the intellectual and physical preparation of the student for a future selection for admission to the Naval School, providing basic education at the high school level, in addition to Military-Naval Education.

The registration fee is R$105.00. Payment may be made by debit in a checking account or by presenting the printed bank slip at any bank branch. The payment of the registration fee will be accepted until June 6, 2019, during banking hours of various States in the Country.

Exemption from the registration fee, there will be an exemption from the registration fee for candidates who belong to families enrolled in the Unified Registry for Social Programs (CadÚnico), of the Federal Government, whose monthly per capita family income is less than or equal to half of the national minimum wage, where the candidate who wishes to request the exemption must complete, date, sign, and submit the request for exemption from the registration fee, the model of which will be made available on the SSPM page on the Internet, in the Downloads section, between April 29 and May 27, 2019.

Location and Date for Registration

Registrations may be made on the Navy’s website only between 08:00 AM on April 29 and 11:59 PM on May 29, 2019, official time of Brasília/DF.

Candidates may also register in person at one of the Organizations Responsible for Local Execution (OREL) listed in the announcement. The service in this case occurs from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM on business days.
