The Brazilian Navy Launched an Announcement with 90 Vacancies in Aquatic Courses for Basic Education Candidates. Anyone Over 18 Years Old Who Fits the Requirements Can Participate.
The Brazilian Navy announced the opening of 90 vacancies in aquatic courses. There are a total of three courses with 30 vacancies for basic education candidates: Admission to Aquatic Training Courses – Convoy Fluvial Sailor (CFAQ-MFC), Adaptation Course for Aquatic Professionals – Cook, Steward, Health Aide, and Nurse (CAAQ-CTS) Fluvial Sailor of Machines (CFAQ-MFM). It is important to highlight that the opportunities are for both genders, requiring at least 18 years of age and completed basic education.
Requirements for the Aquatic Courses of the Brazilian Navy
In the case of MFC and MFM, the requirement set by the Brazilian Navy is to have a basic education level, while the others may require specific courses or experience in the position, see below:
Nursing Assistant
A certificate issued by an educational institution, in accordance with current legislation and registered by the competent authority in the sector, is required for the Health Aide category.

Cook
It is necessary to have completed basic education and, at minimum, a Cook training course for the Cook category, with a minimum workload of 160 hours.
Nurse or Nursing Technician
A diploma or certificate registered and issued in accordance with the current legislation by the competent authority is required for the Nurse (ENF) category.
Waiter or Steward
It is necessary to have completed basic education and, at minimum, a training course for Waiter or Steward, with a minimum workload of 160 hours, for the Steward (TAA) category.
Registration for the Aquatic Courses of the Brazilian Navy
Candidates with completed basic education who wish to register for the aquatic courses must send the documents, necessarily, by mail, sent through the Post Office, in a single envelope to the address: CENTER FOR TRAINING ADMIRAL BRAZ DE AGUIAR – Registration Section – Neighborhood: Pratinha – Belém – PA – ZIP: 66816-900, Arthur Bernardes Highway No. 245.
During the completion of the registration form, the candidate must specify the course being filled out. The Brazilian Navy states that all expenses related to participating in the selection process will be the responsibility of the candidate.
The required documents are copies of a valid official identification document with photo, CPF, voter registration card and certificate of electoral regularity, certificate proving that the male candidate is up to date with military obligations, Federal or State Criminal Background Certificate, proof of residence with ZIP code, 3×4 photo, document of required schooling, among others.
Selection Process for the Aquatic Courses
Registered candidates will be subjected to an eliminatory and classificatory written exam on July 24 at the 9th grade level of Basic Education, covering knowledge of Portuguese Language and Mathematics.
The exam will consist of 40 multiple-choice objective questions, containing 20 questions of mathematics and 20 of Portuguese Language, with each question valued at 3 points, totaling 120 points.
Candidates who score zero on the Brazilian Navy exam will be eliminated from the selection process. Interested candidates must be at the location for the Knowledge Exam well ahead of time, carrying a physical official document, valid and with a photo, a black or blue ballpoint pen, noting that the access gates to these locations will open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 a.m.
