The Gas Company of Mato Grosso do Sul, MT Gás, has defined the return of natural gas supply to the state of Mato Grosso through a contract with Bolivia for 10 years and has promoted the use of fuel in the state of Mato Grosso.
With the market return, MT Gás of Mato Grosso do Sul has become self-sufficient and closed the year with a surplus. The main beneficiaries of the supply return were vehicle drivers, particularly app drivers and taxi drivers. Industries also estimate savings of up to 50% with the use of natural gas compared to other fuels.

With this funding, it will be possible to build pipelines to supply gas to the Industrial District of the city of Cuiabá, where there is the largest number of companies that use gas and the greatest potential for the adoption of new industries, which may attract investors drawn to the low cost of the fuel.
Having formed a partnership with MT PAR Participations and Projects, it is now in the bidding phase for hiring a specialized company to develop the project for infrastructure stations and pressure reduction in gas distribution branches. The bidding will take place on January 13 of next year.
