Rondônia Will Receive a New Pharmaceutical Industry That Promises to Generate Hundreds of New Job Opportunities for Residents of the Region.

Major investors have shown that Rondônia is the new business hub of the country, and the most recent to declare this was Hilton Piccelli, president of a pharmaceutical company, who during an event held at the Palácio Rio Madeira, the seat of the Government of Rondônia, on Wednesday (30), announced the investment in the first industry of pharmaceutical chemistry in the North region, in the industrial district of Porto Velho. The enterprise will arrive in 2023 with an investment of R$ 140 million and is expected to generate 240 job positions, which should triple during the production process.

New Pharmaceutical Industry Will Be Installed on 28,000 Square Meters of Land

The new headquarters of Mediall Brasil arrives in Rondônia during a unique cycle of economic development. Between 2019 and 2022, more than 88,000 companies were established in the state, which achieved the lowest unemployment rate in the North region and the third lowest in Brazil, as a result of the new phase of security for business installation and a Government that transformed the economy into a triple A in fiscal solidity, meaning it has excellence in how it manages the economic affairs of Rondônia, and innovated by developing the Invest Rondônia program to attract new businesses, through which entrepreneurs receive technical support and assistance in launching new ventures, with the assurance of success.

According to Piccelli, Mediall Brasil was one of the lucky ones in the selection process for land in the industrial sector, it is 28,000 square meters, and of this total, 15,000 square meters will be construction, where a pharmaceutical industry producing injectable medications will be installed, focusing on the production of serums, which will boost the region’s economy.

Mediall Brasil Will Bring More Quality of Life to State Residents

For Mediall Brasil, it is a privilege to be in Rondônia, considering that this state is experiencing a favorable moment for business, as there is a lot of stability, confidence, financial and legal security, economic vigor, and it shares the same commitment as the Government of Rondônia to excel in everything it does.

The company has been operating in the health market for over 30 years, headquartered in Goiânia. For Marcos Rocha, Governor of Rondônia, the government’s effort to attract new businesses is one of the management strategies, aimed at improving the quality of life for the population.

The investment in the pharmaceutical industry means more job creation and new opportunities, expanding the development of Rondônia and improving the lives of its population. The arrival of the enterprise generates much pride, as it shows that Rondônia is truly becoming stronger, and that its efforts to improve the state’s economic indicators are having a positive impact on the residents.

11,000 New Job Openings Will Be Created in Rondônia

The governor also highlighted the satisfaction in seeing that the state of Rondônia is industrializing. From 2019 to now, more than 20 new industries have been established in the state, and another 28 are expected for future installations starting next year, generating more than 11,000 job opportunities.

For the Secretary of State for Economic Development (Sedec), Sérgio Gonçalves, the technical, professional, and intelligent service created during Governor Marcos Rocha’s administration is essential for the state to attract new businesses.

Gonçalves emphasizes that the state operates professionally to strengthen Rondônia on the radar of major investments in the country, thus generating a fully favorable business environment, and investors are proving this.
