Those looking for a chance to qualify in the tourism sector have a new opportunity. The Ministry of Tourism, in partnership with Senac, is offering 1,630 positions in free courses for those with a family income per capita of up to two minimum wages.
Enrollment is open until March 27. Just fill out the online form (click) and choose from nearly 20 areas of training. There are courses such as “Quality in Tourist Service“, “Amazônia Cuisine“, and “Supervision of Governance“.

Rules and Enrollment
To participate, candidates must have at least incomplete elementary education. However, some courses require specific prerequisites that must be checked at the time of enrollment.
Each person can enroll in only one course. Selection will be made in the order of registration. If the number of applicants exceeds the number of available positions, the others will be placed on a waiting list.
Those selected but who do not show up to enroll will be automatically eliminated from the process. Enrollments will only be done in person at the locations specified in the enrollment form.
Courses with Practical Focus and Languages
In addition to technical subjects, the courses also offer language classes. English and Spanish, at basic and instrumental levels, are part of the curriculum. The focus is on reading and text interpretation, essential skills for serving tourists.
The training areas cater to different profiles in the sector, from bars and restaurants to governance in accommodation facilities.
Defined Schedule
Enrollment runs from March 17 to 27, until 6 PM. Enrollment for those who registered by March 23 will take place between March 25 and 31. Those registering between March 23 and 27 will be able to enroll from April 1 to 17.
