MODEC recently announced on its official profile job openings for Mechanical Supervisor and Instrumentation Technician. Recently, the Japanese company contracted UMS Safe Concordia, owned by Prosafe, which carried out a maintenance campaign on the FPSO Cidade de Niterói and has been supporting the FPSO Cidade de Angra dos Reis. Moreover, Modec and SBM are the largest demanders, as they are the largest operators of FPSOs in Brazil, together accounting for 18 units (17 FPSOs and one FSO).

Mechanical Supervisor, Requirements:
- Technical Course in Mechanics
- Fluent English
- Experience in FPSO, Tanker Ship, or Petrochemical
- Total mobility required; international experience will be a differential.

Rotating Equipment Specialist (Position in RJ), Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Desirable postgraduate degree in Mechanics
- Advanced/Fluent English
- Previous experience in the role
