The new version of the electric motorcycle weighs less than 300 kilograms and features a new battery design, created by the company in partnership with the French Saft. Additionally, the model has also received stability modifications, with an increase in wheelbase from 1.80 m to 1.96 m, and in seat height from 61 cm to 68.5 cm.
The main manufacturer of the custom tires was Michelin. The new Michelin tires ensure that the fastest electric motorcycle in the world can withstand speeds far above normal in the next test.
A New Record More Optimistic Than Before
Next year, the company will attempt to break its own record and reclaim the title of fastest electric motorcycle in the world for the Wattman. As before, four-time 250cc champion Max Biaggi will be riding the model with Michelin tires and promises to pursue the record in two categories.
One standard, without any aerodynamic elements, and another partially aerodynamic, with a sports motorcycle. Initially, the fastest electric motorcycle in the world will aim for the speed record at the Salar de Uyuni, the largest salt flat in the world, located in the southwest of Bolivia.
However, due to restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, Voxan had to take the electric motorcycle to the Chateauroux airfield in France. There, the model achieved an incredible speed of 408 km/h.
