An extremely rare and luxurious motorhome, known as Brabus Big Boy 1200, valued at R$ 3.3 million, is drawing attention wherever it goes, combining the comfort of a home with the power of a heavy truck.
The exclusive vehicle belongs to a couple of entrepreneurs from Rio Grande do Sul, who envisioned and transformed it into a true home on wheels.
This peculiar motorhome has been traveling around Brazil since its completion, navigating both flat roads and challenging terrains, such as the Serra do Rio do Rastro.

Without relying on an outlet, without a cable, and without the gasoline engine driving the wheels: Nissan created the Note e-POWER, a hatchback that always runs on an electric motor while a combustion engine works only as a generator, delivering to Japan a type of “electric without recharging” that Brazil is almost unfamiliar with.
The project is considered a milestone for merging sophisticated residential space, advanced technology, and autonomy for long trips.
With over 13 meters in length and about 45 m² of internal area when expanded, the motorhome redefines the concept of high-end mobile tourism.
It is not just an ordinary recreational vehicle: it is a complete residential space, designed for those who wish to traverse the country without sacrificing comfort.
How This Impressive Motorhome Was Born?
The idea of creating a high-luxury motorhome arose from the dream of a couple of entrepreneurs who always wanted to combine a passion for trucks with a nomadic lifestyle.
To do this, they chose a Scania 770 S V8 truck—recognized as one of the most powerful models available in Brazil—as the base for the conversion.
The construction took about two years of planning, execution, and finishing, involving a company specialized in high-end motorhomes.
This bold choice of platform and power made all the difference: the motorhome is capable of accommodating a complete residential structure without compromising performance or safety on the roads.
Power And Autonomy: What Makes This Motorhome Different
The heart of this motorhome is the Scania 770 S V8 engine, with an impressive 770 horsepower and 377 kgfm of torque—high values even for a heavy truck.
This ensures that it maintains performance even while carrying a huge and heavy body.
Additionally, the vehicle has a tank with a capacity of about 395 liters, allowing for autonomy of up to 1,200 km between refuels, depending on road conditions.
To safely brake such a heavy set on slopes or curves, the braking system features an auxiliary resource known as retarder, which helps reduce speed without wearing out the traditional brakes as much.
Sophisticated Interior: Apartment Comfort On Wheels
When parked, the motorhome nearly transforms into a compact apartment, with about 45 m² of usable area—comparable to a living room combined with a kitchen from an urban home.
This increase in space is possible thanks to the slide-out structure, which extends parts of the body outward.
The living room features a retractable sofa, fireplace, microwave, and wine cellar, creating a cozy and functional environment.
The integrated kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator and space for glasses, further enhancing the feel of a traditional home.
The bedrooms are another highlight: the master suite has a double bed and TV, while the secondary room features bunk beds and flexible configuration options.

In total, there are six televisions distributed throughout the interior and an external screen of 75 inches, ideal for turning any stop into an outdoor cinema.
External Amenities And Extended Autonomy
The motorhome also impresses outside of the main body.
It features a complete outdoor gourmet kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, freezer, sink, and even a washer-dryer, ideal for long journeys without the need to stop in cities.

All this external space is covered by an electric awning, increasing comfort for moments of relaxation outdoors.
In the bathroom, the highlight is the spacious shower and a reservoir that holds up to 1,000 liters of water, ensuring autonomy even in remote areas.
Travels And Experiences: A Motorhome In Motion
Since its completion, the motorhome has been traversing challenging and scenic routes across Brazil, exploring famous highways like the Serra do Rio do Rastro (SC-390), known for its steep curves and stunning views.
On these trips, the combination of power and stability demonstrates why this vehicle is considered unique in the country.
The project attracts attention not only from travel enthusiasts on wheels but also from those seeking a sophisticated nomadic lifestyle—combining tourism, technology, and comfort into one vehicle.
In an increasingly popular motorhome market, driven by the desire for freedom and exploration, such a robust and luxurious project stands out.
By merging heavy engineering with refined residential design, it shows that tourism with comfort and autonomy is a reality within reach of those who can invest heavily in unique experiences.
