With The New Car Rental Program, Stellantis Aims To Facilitate Access For Drivers To New Models Of Electric Cars.
The multinational corporation Stellantis announced the creation of an electric car rental program in France. Expansion Of Stellantis’ Rental Car Program
Initially, Stellantis’ program will only be offered to drivers who own diesel vehicles registered before 2011 or gasoline vehicles registered before 2006.
According to Stellantis, this is an attempt to accelerate the transition process to electric cars and the electrification of other vehicles. The corporation also reported that, in the future, other vehicles will be offered in the plans of its program, and that it will soon be expanded to other countries in the European continent.
Here in Brazil, Stellantis currently operates only four electric cars: two models for passenger use, the Peugeot e-208 and the Fiat 500e (this one quite famous in the country); and two commercial vehicles, the Citroën ë-Jumpy and the Peugeot e-Expert. Regardless of which model drivers choose, they will easily be charmed by the brand’s cars.
Stellantis Wants To “Conquer The World Completely”
In mid-June of this year, Stellantis intensified the expansion of its two largest dealership networks: Citroën and Peugeot, which sell and are responsible for the entire post-sale process of electric cars.
The Peugeot e-208 sold in Brazil, for example, is marketed within the same sales portfolio as the European market, and features 50 kWh batteries and a 136 hp motor, configuration sufficient to travel 340 km and go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8 seconds.
