Content Offered Aims to Empower Students for the Growing Job Market in the Technology Sector
The Municipal Secretariat of Science and Technology (SMCT), through the Knowledge Hubs, is now accepting applications for more than nine thousand slots in various free courses in technology, computer science, and entrepreneurship. The courses will be offered in both in-person and online formats. Free workshops and lectures are also available in the program scheduled for July. The content of the courses provided focuses on empowering students for the job market in the technology field.
– In this current scenario where technology is influencing nearly all areas, the Hubs play a crucial role. Opening doors through training courses that can primarily insert our youth into this growing job market – stated Willian Coelho, municipal secretary of Science and Technology.
Among the topics offered by the Hubs are: Preventive Computer Maintenance, Basic Excel, Canva, Helpdesk Analyst, Computer Operator, Business Excel, VBA, Basic Computer for Kids, Basic Computer for Seniors, Linux, Cloud Computing, Design for Social Media in Photoshop, Programming Logic, among others.
