How to Participate in the Free Gastronomy Course?
Interested individuals must register by May 24 through the official Nestlé website. The program is open to young people from all over Brazil, preferably those studying culinary/patisserie technical courses or pursuing a degree in gastronomy at public institutions. The priority is to include young people in situations of social vulnerability, providing them with a platform to develop valuable professional skills.
Course Structure and Additional Benefits
The free online course is strategically divided into several stages to maximize learning and participant experience. The first phase will be conducted virtually in May, including ten classes spread over five weeks, which can be accessed via computer or WhatsApp. This segment will cover essential topics such as employability and barista techniques.
The 100 most outstanding students will be selected for the in-person phase in São Paulo, where they will have the opportunity to learn directly from chefs at Nestlé Professional and other renowned national chefs.
Hands-On Experience in Prestigious Places
In addition to theoretical classes, participants in the in-person phase will have the chance to practice their culinary skills in renowned locations, such as Cidade Matarazzo and Le Cordon Bleu in São Paulo, as well as Gastronomia Preta and Escola Laurent Suaudeau. This is a significant differentiator, as it allows students to experience the real environment of high gastronomy.
Course Completion and Certification
Upon finishing the course, students will receive a certificate from the World Chefs Academy, ensuring international recognition of their skills. Additionally, they will be part of the YO SOY YOCUTA community, gaining visibility on the TAQE platform, a space dedicated to the employability of young chefs.
