NIO ET9 Is A New Electric Car That Features Innovative Technology And Shakes Off Snow When Covered.
The Chinese automaker NIO surprised the electric vehicle market with its new launch, the ET9 SUV, which incorporates innovative technology to handle adverse weather conditions. The car shakes off the snow from its body when covered, utilizing technology in the chassis and a 900V architecture. Inspired by Tesla models, the ET9 boasts cutting-edge features such as steer-by-wire and rear-wheel steering, offering a total power of 697 hp. Projections indicate that NIO’s new electric SUV is set to be launched in 2025.
The Electric Car That Challenges Winter With Revolutionary Technology
In extremely cold regions, where it snows constantly, electric vehicles (EVs) face significant challenges.
As such, many vehicles come equipped with climate control systems that pre-heat or cool the interior before a trip.

Tesla is one of the leading automakers that stands out in these technologies for electric cars.
However, when snow covers the car, windows may be cleared, but doors and other parts remain covered.
With this in mind, the Chinese automaker NIO is launching new technology for its flagship electric car, the ET9 SUV.
A video released recently by the company shows the ET9 literally shaking the snow away from its body, thanks to technology in its chassis and a 900V architecture.
NIO Invests In Technology And Infrastructure For The New Electric SUV
Another highlight of the custom architecture of the ET9 is that it provides a driving experience akin to a flat surface, even on rough roads.
Its suspension adjusts steering height and damper stiffness instantly.
NIO has already demonstrated this technology in a video, where the electric car navigates obstacles while carrying champagne glasses without spilling a drop.
In addition to the highlights for the technology and architecture of the model, the ET9 incorporates elements from Tesla’s famous Cybertruck, such as steer-by-wire and rear-wheel steering.
With two twin electric motors, the Chinese SUV delivers a total of 697 hp.
In the Asian market, the NIO ET9 is available for US$ 113,000 (R$ 560,24 thousand in direct conversion). Moreover, the first deliveries are scheduled for the first quarter of 2025.
