The company Nova Engevix, controlled by the Nova Participações Group, is working to leave the past behind and fully return to its business. In an interview with Petronotícias, José Antunes Sobrinho, a shareholder of the holding company, stated that one of the company’s priorities is the completion of the works at the São Roque Power Plant in Santa Catarina and the resumption of business with Petrobras.

Can you reveal when the works at the UHE São Roque will be resumed and how the company will raise the R$ 380 million needed?
“The works are expected to resume at the end of March and beginning of April this year, contingent on the success of an operation to raise funds coordinated by the investment bank Arctic Securities. The operation, which consists of the issuance of debentures by the Norwegian institution, involves a total of US$ 90 million in issued debts.”
What are the Nova Group’s plans for the oil and gas market? Do they intend to take any initiatives in this segment?
The plans pertain to the Judicial Recovery Plan of the Shipyard and actions aimed at its operational resumption.
The company is still prohibited from being contracted by Petrobras. But are there already measures in progress or being planned to remove the company from this list?
