Suzano Closes Partnership to Encourage Small Producers in Ribas do Rio Pardo
Suzano, in partnership with the Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of Mato Grosso do Sul (Famasul), through the “Productive Inclusion” program, will invest in inputs aimed at small rural producers in order to assist in growth in Ribas do Rio Pardo.
The announcement of the partnership comes one day after the disclosure of the delay in activating the R$ 22 billion factory in the municipality and amid the crisis of Suzano’s outsourced company, which changed partners while applying a million-dollar default.
According to the information released by Famasul, the signing of the cooperation agreement was initially aimed at serving 135 families and aims to foster job generation and thus bring income stimulation in the countryside. Families engaged in agriculture and livestock in the areas surrounding the construction of the new factory in Ribas do Rio Pardo will be served.
