The municipality of Brusque, located in the Itajaí Valley, will receive a new factory from Lightwall Brazil, boosting the construction sector in the state of Santa Catarina.
With an investment of R$ 80 million, the unit will specialize in the production of pre-molded panels, an innovative technology that allows for the assembly of homes of up to 40 m² in just 12 hours.
The expectation is that the factory will start its operations in 2025, generating 80 new jobs in the region.

The expansion of Lightwall Brazil is part of a strategic growth plan by the company, which intends to open 11 factories in different states by 2026. The choice of Santa Catarina is due to its advanced infrastructure and favorable environment for investments in the industrial sector.

The investment by Lightwall Brazil comes at a time when Santa Catarina solidifies itself as one of the states with the highest industrial growth in Brazil. In 2024, the state recorded a 7.7% increase in production, according to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE).
The Monthly Industrial Survey (PIM) revealed that Santa Catarina surpassed other states with positive performances, such as Rio Grande do Norte (7.4%) and Ceará (6.9%).
In the Southern region, Paraná grew by 4.2%, while Rio Grande do Sul registered a modest increase of 0.6%, below the national average of 3.1%. São Paulo, the state with the highest GDP in Brazil, had a growth of 3.1%, maintaining the national average.
