Honda Launches New Motorcycle in Argentina for Less than R$ 10,000, More Affordable Price than the Pop 110i. Model Promises Great Range and Performance, Capable of Traveling 100 km Using 2 Liters of Fuel.
In early January, Honda Motos Argentina announced the launch of its new motorcycle Navi, a model originating from India and already present in significant markets, including the United States. The highlight of the Honda Navi is its positioning as the most affordable option in Honda’s lineup, a trend observed in all countries where it is sold, especially in the U.S. This launch represents a strategic step by Honda in offering an efficient and economical motorcycle, aligned with the needs and preferences of consumers in different global markets.
New Honda Motorcycle Costs Less than a Pop 110i
Now, Honda has started selling this new Navi in the Argentine market. There, the model is being advertised starting at 1,680,000 pesos, which would be equivalent to R$ 9,361 in our currency at the direct conversion of the value.
For comparison, the Honda Pop 110i in Brazil, the brand’s cheapest model here, costs at least R$ 9,570, a figure that does not even take shipping into account. The new Honda motorcycle may be somewhat smaller than the Pop 110i, but it already comes with an automatic CVT transmission.

Toyota Launches First 100% Electric Car in Brazil: bZ4X with 343 HP, All-Wheel Drive, 361 km Range, Priced at $419,990 BRL, Limited to 99 Units
The production of the Honda Navi in Argentina takes place at the Campana assembly line, which currently has the capacity to produce 112,000 units per year. The brand’s forecast is that the scooter will sell around 3,000 units there by the end of this year. However, this does not mean there are chances of it reaching the national market.
The first reason is that the Honda Navi still uses a carburetor, so it is unlikely to meet the strict pollutant emission standards used in the national market. Another reason is that Honda in Brazil does not have any motorcycle imported from Argentina being offered here.
New Honda Motorcycle Achieves 46.9 km/l
The Honda Navi is powered by a single-cylinder engine with Honda’s Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) technology (also seen in the National PCX) with a displacement of 109.2 cm³ and air cooling. With eSP, the internal friction of the engine is reduced, which also helps enhance fuel efficiency. Since the new Honda motorcycle was originally designed as an urban bike, riders will not be too surprised to learn that it has the capability to achieve 46.9 km/l.
The layout is much more similar to what would be found in a scooter, with the engine set back and near the rear wheel. Reinforcing this theme, the Navi features an automatic CVT transmission. Unlike most scooters, however, its design lacks a front shield to protect the rider from the elements.
Economical, with a seat height of 784 mm from the ground and a total weight of just 107 kg, the new model is incredibly accessible for new license holders. It is important to highlight that the model has a 110 cc engine, still carbureted, producing 8 horsepower.
