Samsung started this week the rollout of One UI 8, the system update for smartphones and tablets in the Galaxy line.

- Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra – starting October 6
- Galaxy S21 FE – starting October 16
- Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 – starting September 25
- Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5 – starting October 2
- Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4 – starting October 6
These dates were officially confirmed in September 2025, with initial priority given to the latest models.
Update Expansion for the Galaxy A Line
Next, the update will reach the mid-range Galaxy A line.
- Galaxy A56 5G and A36 5G – starting September 25
- Galaxy A55 5G, A35 5G, A26, A17, and A17 5G – starting October 2
- Galaxy A54 5G, A34 5G, A25 5G, A16 5G, A16, and A15 5G – starting October 6
- Galaxy A73 5G, A53 5G, A24, A15, A07, A06 5G, and A06 – starting October 16
- Galaxy A33 5G – starting October 23
The schedule illustrates Samsung’s strategy to distribute One UI 8 in a staggered manner.
The priority is always system stability before expanding availability to other devices.
Galaxy Tablets Also Enter the Schedule
The Galaxy Tab tablets are also included in the list of devices that will receive the new system version.
