Discover The Differentiators Of The New Yamaha Scooter Arriving In Brazil With Unprecedented Features And Cutting-Edge Technology
Yamaha officially presented the XMax 300 Connected during the Interlagos Motos Festival 2025, held in May. Expected to arrive at dealerships in August, the model will be produced in Manaus starting in July, with a suggested price of R$ 37,990 (excluding freight and insurance).
Refined Design And Advanced Features
Inspired by the European model, the XMax 300 features a sporty look with striking lines and sophisticated finishing. Available in Magma Brown (matte brown) with black wheels, X-Black (matte black) with blue wheels, and Aura Grey (pearl gray) with golden wheels, the scooter includes full LED lighting, providing greater safety and visibility in various conditions. Highlights include the electrically adjustable windshield, controlled by a button on the left grip, and the keyless entry system, which offers convenience in daily use. Additionally, the scooter has a USB Type-C port for charging mobile devices.
Powerful Engine And Superior Performance
The XMax 300 Connected is equipped with a 292 cc single-cylinder engine, liquid-cooled, delivering 27.9 hp at 7,250 rpm and 2.9 kgf.m of torque at 5,750 rpm. Compared to the XMax 250, it offers 5.1 hp and 0.4 kgf.m more, resulting in quicker acceleration and higher top speed. The CVT automatic transmission ensures a smooth ride, while the traction control provides added safety, preventing rear wheel slippage on slippery surfaces.

Dual Display And Cutting-Edge Connectivity
One of the major differentiators of the XMax 300 is the dual display, consisting of an LCD screen and a color TFT screen positioned side by side. Through the Yamaha Motorcycle Connect app, it’s possible to pair your smartphone via Bluetooth, allowing access to calls, messages, music control, and real-time information. The integration with the Garmin StreetCross app offers GPS navigation with real-time traffic information displayed directly on the TFT screen. The system also allows for viewing detailed maps and selecting favorite destinations, such as home and work.
Enhanced Safety And Comfort
The XMax 300 Connected features telescopic fork front suspension with 110 mm of travel and rear suspension with 92 mm of travel, ensuring comfort and stability on different types of terrain. The ABS brakes on both wheels, with 267 mm discs in the front and 245 mm discs in the rear, ensure efficient and safe braking. The 15-inch front wheels and 14-inch rear wheels, fitted with 120/70 and 140/70 tires, respectively, contribute to a stable and comfortable ride. Under the seat, there is a spacious compartment capable of accommodating two full-face helmets, offering practicality for daily use.
Market Strategy And Extended Warranty
Yamaha, therefore, aims to expand its presence in the medium scooter segment in Brazil with the arrival of the new XMax 300 Connected. In addition, the brand’s goal is to achieve a 70% market share, as the demand for powerful and technological scooters continues to grow. It is worth noting that the new XMax 300 Connected will not replace the XMax 250 in the Japanese manufacturer’s portfolio. Thus, both versions will remain available, as they cater to distinct consumer profiles seeking performance, comfort, or versatility. Finally, the new model will be sold with a four-year warranty and will also include the ‘Fixed Price Review’ plan for maintenance. With this, Yamaha bets on the modern design, technological features, and advanced performance to position the XMax 300 as a premium scooter in Brazil.
