Petrobras Announces 5% Increase in Gas Cylinder Prices, Now R$ 25.55 for a 13kg Cylinder
Following Petrobras’ announcement of an increase in gas cylinder prices, Ultragaz announced a partnership with the payment technology company Elo. Those who buy either P13 or P45 cylinders through the Ultragaz app and pay online with an Elo credit card or Caixa Elo virtual debit card will automatically receive a discount of R$ 10.00 on their purchase.

Diego Lomeu, the Customer Experience Manager at Ultragaz, stated that “With this partnership, we can support the population that is currently relying on the Federal Government’s Emergency Assistance, which can be used with the Caixa Elo virtual debit card via the CAIXA Tem app. Customers will have the option to purchase an essential product at a reduced price, at their discretion to use or not use this benefit.” This discount on the Ultragaz app will be valid until October 31, 2020, in locations where the app is available, currently covering 12 states and 356 cities in the country.
It is worth noting that Ultragaz is the first LP Gas company in Brazil to bottle gas and a pioneer in sales volume. It has 18 bottling and distribution bases in Brazil and is responsible for supplying over 1.7 million tons of LPG to more than 11 million homes and approximately 54,000 commercial clients. Its network of dealers has over 5,000 stores.
